Amidst lockdown, my wife initiated a fresh custom of purchasing flowers to add vibrancy to our home. These flowers were showcased prominently, and as we confined indoors, I walked past them dozens of times during the day.

As the days dragged on, I began to observe the mesmerising effect of the natural light on them, uncovering intricate details that I had previously unnoticed.

Starting with waratahs, I began to photograph the flowers challenging myself to create a sensual fashion esque feel.

The resulting body of work continues – as do the flower deliveries to our home!
